It's All About Horses is owned by Tracey Scheltinga. Tracey grew up in the triangle area and remembers riding her pony around North Raleigh, when it was still lots of farm fields. She started riding Saddlebreds and had a successful show career before switching to Quarter Horses & Barrel Racing.
Laura Rose Heymann, owner of Topline Training, resides in Pittsboro, NC. A successful North Carolina transplant, Laura grew up in horse country, Virginia (Charlottesville) where she cultivated her love of horses since age 6. Since graduating from Elon University in 2008, Laura has been teaching Natural Horsemanship and Dressage lessons, with the help of her four-legged family, Cupid, Ali and Mocha, as well as providing teaching and training services to those with their own horses and farms. Laura's horse interests include: dressage, trail riding, jumping, equine nutrition, and herd behavior.
Lenna Wigg moved to Apex in the fall of 2012 with her, now fiance, three ferrets, two dogs & one horse, Romeo. She grew up on Eastern Long Island where she spent countless hours in the saddle riding with top Hunter Jumper Trainers. Her love of horses continued through college when she choose to stay home and ride, while living at home she graduated from Farmingdale State College with a Bachelor's in Business Management.
Penny is the unofficial ambassador of good will here at It's All About Horses. She was rescued in the Fall of 2012 by Randolph County Animal Shelter. While there she went through there New Leash on Life Program. She can do basic obedience as well as some cool tricks. Which she is always happy to show off for a treat! She was adopted by Lenna in March of 2013 and instantly became a favorite around the store. In December she completed her TDI therapy dog test and will be taking on some volunteer work this Spring.
